Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector

Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector
$24

I came to the conclusion recently that I needed a more emollient under eye concealer.  The two I alternate between, Amazing and IT Concealer are both well regarded.  Since they are both heavily pigmented, very little product is required to get the job done.

As a result, both tubes are only half used, though they were purchased eons ago.  I can't be sure if the dryness I'm experiencing is actually my skin, due to this endlessly cold winter, or if the consistency is changing to due to age of the product.

Either way, it was time for something new and I simply got lucky when I chose to sample and purchase Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector...it's superb.
Available in just two shades, Light- Medium and Medium-Tan, the former is a perfect match for my skin tone. The creamy consistency blends beautifully, (I like to use a concealer brush) and lasts all day, without any need for touch ups.

Love fest.

I was curious if others were as enamored with Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector as I am, so I culled reviews on MakeupAlley, Tarte's website and Sephora's. Not surprisingly, they were stellar.

Women with deep, dark circles, touted it as, "miraculous", "my Holy Grail" and "the concealer I will never be without". I'm fortunate not to have this problem, but frequently am asked by readers for the best treatment I can recommend.

While Tarte Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector may not "treat" dark circles, it will cover them. While a permanent solution would be ideal, sometimes a quick fix is as good as it gets.  An extra plus, is Tarte's claim that continued use, "will improve skin tone and texture over time".

Here's more:

Product Performance: This multi-tasking, full coverage corrector expertly masks undereye discolorations and dark circles in two universal shades. The light-diffusing particles brighten undereye areas and soften the appearance of fine lines as color-correcting colored clay helps to offset the look of dark circles.  Infused with nutrient-rich, skinvigorating™ ingredients, this undereye corrector works to hydrate, condition and smooth skin while helping improve skin tone and texture over time.

Who knows, maybe this will even be the first concealer that's good to the last schmear. After all, there's a first time for everything...
